Privacy Policy

Wallpendar – Last updated: March 3, 2026

Hi there! This privacy policy is meant to be as simple and transparent as the app itself.

Good news: Wallpendar does not collect any personal data or usage information. No analytics, no trackers, no ads — nothing.

📖 In a nutshell

Wallpendar is a simple wallpaper & calendar tool. It works entirely on your device. I built it as a non‑commercial, passion project — so there’s no reason to collect anything about you.

📸 Photo access

The app may ask for permission to access your photo library only for one purpose: to let you choose an image to use as a wallpaper. This happens entirely on your device, and I never see, store, or upload your photos anywhere.

🌐 Internet & random images

Wallpendar has a “random image” button that fetches a free stock photo from a public API. When you tap that button, a simple request is made to download a picture — but no personal information (like your IP address or device ID) is stored or tracked by me. The third‑party stock service may have its own privacy policy, but Wallpendar itself does not send them any identifiable data.

📧 Contact

If you have any questions — about privacy, the app, or just want to say hello — feel free to email me directly. I’m an independent developer and I’ll do my best to reply.

🔒 No third‑party SDKs

Wallpendar does not include any third‑party analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs (like Google AdMob, Facebook, etc.), or crash reporting tools. It’s just the app and Apple’s standard iOS frameworks.

🗂 Data storage

All your settings (like calendar position, style preferences, etc.) are stored locally on your device using UserDefaults or similar local storage. I never have access to them.

🧒 Children’s privacy

Wallpendar is safe for all ages. Since we don’t collect any data, we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13 either.

🌍 Changes to this policy

If anything changes in the future (for example, if I add a feature that requires data), I’ll update this page and change the “last updated” date above. But honestly, I plan to keep Wallpendar simple and privacy‑friendly forever.
